Pixar's animated movie Cars will come to life on June 15 when Disney's California Adventure opens a real-life version of the Western desert road town of Radiator Springs. The 12-acre attraction will feature everything from a Flo's Drive-In and a Cozy Cone to a high-speed "Radiator Springs Racers" ride with six-seat, open-topped race cars fashioned after your favorite Cars characters. The race cars operate on a track similar to the one used for the General Motors proving-ground attraction at Disney's Epcot Center in Florida.

Bugatti is giving a glimpse of its future beyond the Veyron with this W16-powered four-seat limousine. Like its two-seat stablemate, the 16C Galibier aims to be the ultimate: the fastest, most powerful, most elegant and expensive car in the world. Officially it’s a concept car, but Bugatti has started showing the Galibier to customers; if sufficient open up their Swiss accounts, expect the green light in spring 2010 with sales beginning within three years.
The Pontiac Aztek may be the most hated American car in the history of American cars, which is really saying something. But lately, it's begun to acquire the kind of appeal that has made other oddballs -- such as the AMC Pacer and Ford Pinto -- beloved collectibles among a certain segment of the car community. Hell, we were just cruising eBay for Azteks the other day.
